Cough, cough, cough. Should I run?

I am afflicted with a cough and a cold. It’s been going on for about a month and the dratted thing seems to be mutating every week. With no body temperature increase, just lethargy as my enemy, I’ve attempted to keep running but I wondered if expelling what little energy I have was a reason as to why I’m not getting better. So I did what any other runner would do. I did a google and I found this.

“…the immune system works better when you keep moving (gently, unstrenuously) rather than spending all day in bed because it helps circulate lymph.

Interesting read. So my running is probably not the reason why I’m still not well.
